INVESTIGATE LIZZIE BORDEN'S WITH SPOOKY SOUTHCOAST!

Join "Spooky Southcoast" for a special "Investigators' Night" at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast at 92 Second Street in Fall River, MA. The event will be Sunday night, April 6, 2008, and is hopefully the first of many such events.

While details are still coming together, SSC announced that a price of $75 per ticket will get investigators--as well as the general public interested in taking part in an investigation--into the very haunted house at 92 Second Street to take part in the investigation, as well as presentations given by soon-to-be-announced special guests. Keep checking back here as all the news will be announced in the coming days...

In addition, anyone wishing to rent out a room at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast for the night will get a special rate of $150 for the room! They generally go for $175 and $250, so you could save as much as $100 on the price!

So for just $300, a couple can take part in all the activities of the night before retiring to their room to (hopefully) get some sleep--if the spirits will let you! And groups can split the room amongst themselves to make it even cheaper.

"We're doing this because we want other investigators as well as the general public to have the same opportunity that we've had to experience the hauntings at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast," said Tim Weisberg, host of "Spooky Southcoast." "We still need to ensure that owner Lee-ann Wilber, who is generously lowering the costs associated with renting out the house, can cover her expenses for the evening. So hopefully, we've come up with an affordable opportunity for investigators to check out Lizzie's without having to rent out the entire house."

"This is going to be different than the usual events they have there," Weisberg said. "If you'd rather investigate instead of listening to the lectures and guest speakers, we welcome that. And we'll also have special guest investigators there to help you as well. Plus, the small size of the house and the fact that we'll have 20 people investigating at once will force groups and individuals to work together, and unity in the field of the paranormal is something we feel very strongly about."

Due to the size of the house, the investigation is limited to only 20 people. So act now!

Those interested should reserve their tickets and room by contacting Tim Weisberg at
tim@spookysouthcoast.com, timweisberg@hotmail.com, or at the Spooky Southcoast Myspace page.

Checks or money orders should be sent to:
Spooky Southcoast
P.O. Box 3271
Wareham, MA  02571

Please make all checks payable to "Spooky Southcoast"

JUST ANNOUNCED!

Author and lecturer Jeff Belanger of GhostVillage.com will be on hand to give a presentation, as well as join in the investigation!

Jeff has been a frequent guests on "The Maury Povich Show" as well as some of the top-notch paranormal conferences...and now he brings his unique presentation to our first "Investigators' Night." With his blend of humor, insight and evidence, Jeff will astound even the most hardened skeptic. He'll also be available to sign copies of any of his numerous books on the paranormal.

In addition, Tim Weisberg and Matt Moniz of "Spooky Southcoast" will give a brief overview of the paranormal for beginners, as well as a crash course on the Bordens and the history of the hauntings at 92 Second Street. Plus, Matt will give newcomers a demonstration on how to utilize various types of equipment when investigating the paranormal.

THIS WEEK--JIM MARRS

This week on Spooky Southcoast, we are joined by author and investigative journalist Jim Marrs.

Known for such acclaimed works as "Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy" (which served as the basis for Oliver Stone's film "JFK") and "Alien Agenda," still one of the world's most influential works on UFOs. He's also the author of the controversial "The Terror Conspiracy," regarding the 9/11 attacks and their aftermath.

Jim will join us to talk about his new book, "Psi Spies: The True Story of America's Psychic Warfare Program." It's the story of the Remote Viewing Program conducted in secret by the CIA and the U.S. military. We'll discuss what remote viewing is, how its possible and some of the ways it was used during the Cold War and still today.

Also, Jim will talk with us about the assassination of John F. Kennedy, just days after the 44th anniversary of the tragic event.

If you have any questions for Jim Marrs or any theories on remote viewing, the JFK assassination, or any of the topics Jim has investigated, call in and share at (508) 996-0500 or (508) 291-0500.

THIS WEEK--UFOs
Tonight on "Spooky Southcoast," we'll examine this past week's event at the National Press Club in Washington DC, in which the Coalition for the Freedom of Information and a panel of over two dozen former pilots and government officials formally requested that US government re-open its investigation of UFOs.

We'll be joined by filmmaker James Fox ("Out of the Blue") who along with investigative journalist Leslie Kean spearheaded the effort, author and ufologist Peter Robbins, and possibly others as we talk about what disclosure of UFO activity and continuing investigation of reports by the US goverment and military would mean to the public in general.

To cap it all off, "SSC" host Tim Weisberg and Science Advisor Matt Moniz will go toe-to-toe to on the subject of UFOs and full disclosure. Tim thinks we deserve to know all the government knows; Matt thinks that, to borrow a line from Jack Nicholson, we can't handle the truth. What do you think? We want to hear from YOU at (508) 996-0500 or (508) 291-0500.

For more on the historic event, visit UFO Media Watch for transcripts, video and media coverage. And for those who have had a UFO encounter in the New England area and need help dealing, be sure to contact our friends at Starborn Support.
